Pediatric Services
Pediatric dental services cater to the dental needs of children of all ages, right from infants to teenagers. At Dental Arts, our experts are specially trained to help your children get the best dental care in a comfortable, friendly environment.
Some of the pediatric dental services offered at our office include:
- First Dental Visit for Kids
Ideally, a child should visit their dentist by the time they turn one year old. During your baby’s first dental checkup, we will take the time to acquaint ourselves with the health history of your baby and examine their teeth and mouth. We will also answer any questions you may have in relation to your infant’s dental health. - Kids Complete Checkups
Bi-Annual dental checkups are important for your kid’s oral health. These checkups allow us to keep a track of your child’s dental health, and to help them develop an at-home oral care regime which sets the foundation of good dental care habits at an early age. - Sealants
Tooth decay is a common occurrence in children. It is not only a painful and unpleasant condition to suffer from, but could also become a cause for more serious problems such as gum disease and tooth loss. Dental sealants are a thin coating of plastic which are applied on the rough surfaces of a child’s back teeth to smoothen the surface and prevent decay. - Fluoride Applications
Fluorine has been found to be effective in controlling cavities and tooth decay. It helps to prevent mineral loss from the tooth enamel, and also helps in the remineralization of the enamel. We offer topical fluoride treatment for children’s teeth. - Preventive Treatments
Preventive dental care helps in controlling and preventing the occurrence of dental care problems so that the need for expensive and extensive dental treatments can be avoided in the future. - Emergency Dentistry For Kids
Injuries and dental emergencies can be distressing for children as well as parents. Some of the common dental emergencies experienced by children are severe toothache, a knocked-out tooth, crown fracture, root fracture, injury or trauma to the face, lips, jaw or tongue, concussions, etc. If your child experiences a dental emergency, please give us a call immediately. - Spacers
Space maintainers are placed after a baby tooth falls out to help the incoming permanent tooth come in its proper place. Spacers may be fixed or removable. - Mouth Guards
Custom mouth guards can help protect your child’s teeth from injury while playing sports. They can also protect the teeth from the damage caused by bruxism (the habit of grinding and clenching the teeth during sleep).
